I've been on many great wildlifefilmfestivals, but this international GreenScreenFilmfestival in Eckernförde/EastSea is a very special one. Great chance to see wonderful films on nature, animalbehaviour, conservation and beauty on earth, even to meet other awarded and new filmmakers, tv-broadcasters and producers, learn about new technolgies and 3D Underwatershooting. Hundreds of helping hand by local volunteers makes it even more personal than any other festival i know and full sunshine all days, so we could even enjoy the Ostsee before fall starts and winter will follow soon!
Covered by many different events for the young and older audience, wildlifefilmcamps, meetings, workshops, sailing tour and a big GALA at Gut Altenhof, this festival is great for everyone. Congratulations to all the winners and escpecially to Wildlifefilmmkaer Rick Rosenthal/USA for winning the categorie: Best Oceanfilm "Hunter of the Sea-the blue tuna", co-produced by doclights Hamburg. The Heinz Sielmann Award went to Sir David Attenboroug, but he was shooting in nature and could not come. All winners you can find under www.green-screenfestival.de. Save the date for 2014!
